KARACHI: Encroachments removed


KARACHI, March 2: Pakistan Railways, Karachi Division, has launched a campaign to remove encroachments.

During an ongoing anti-encroachment operation, the railway authorities removed Bachat Bazar at Reti Line, Karachi Cantt operating on 2 acres of land.

A cattle pen in Hump Yard Railway Colony, Bachat Bazar near Kala Pul, Karachi Cantt Station besides encroachments near Clifton Bridge/Bath Island were also removed.

According to the PR authorities, disciplinary action has also been initiated against those railway employees who were directly/indirectly involved in the setting up of encroachments and illegal business activities.—APP
