KARACHI: Special allowances for doctors, paramedics

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, March 2: Sindh Health Minister Syed Sardar Ahmad on Friday said that the provincial government would provide incentive allowances to those doctors and paramedics who are at present performing duties at the basic health units, rural dispensary, mother child health centres and taluka/union council hospitals.

According to the minister, the allowance will be admissible from March 15 to the paramedical staff of grade-16 (Rs3,000 per month), and doctors of grade 17 and 18 (Rs4,000 and Rs5,000 per month respectively).

Medical professionals should discharge their duties with the utter sense of honesty and dedication, he added saying that the government was making all efforts to solve the problems of doctors and paramedics.
