Shopkeepers give tough time to police

ISLAMABAD, March 1: Two policemen were injured when they clashed with milkmen on Thursday night over selling dirty milk, police said.

According to details two policemen of Police Line Headquarters came to a milkman of Aabpara with a complaint that flies were floating on milk which they had purchased from him.

Both the parties exchanged harsh words which led to physical fight. Some other shopkeepers of the Market also join their neighbor and gave hard time to the policemen. Later the injured were shifted to Federal Government Services hospital.

WOMAN INJURED: A woman suffered burn injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in her house on Thursday.

According to details, Naheed Akhtar, 40, was doing house-hold chores nearby the cylinder when the blast took place, hospital sources said.

Naheed Akhter, a resident of Bari Imam was rushed to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences where doctors said her condition was serious as she had suffered 80 per cent burn injuries.
