KARACHI: Two men found Murdered

KARACHI, March 1: The body of a 33-year-old man with his throat slit was found on Thursday in a plastic bag in Korangi.

It was shifted to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre where the victim was identified as Mohammed Sajid, son of Abdul Hameed, resident of Sector 37-B, Landhi.

The police said the body was lying in the bushes near Labour Square.

They said the victim was a salesman at a shop in Boulton Market and he had been missing since he left home for the shop in the morning.

The police registered a case against unknown culprits on the complaint of victim’s elder brother, Abdul Hamid.

A 22-year-old man was found shot dead at Maula Madad Graveyard near Rhehri Goth in the limits of Quaidabad police. The body was shifted to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre where the deceased was identified as Naveed, son of Fazal Qayyum, hailing from Haji Khel, Swabi.

Doctors said the victim received a bullet which went through his skull.

The police said a pistol with four live bullets in its chamber was found clenched in the right hand of the victim, who was identified by his national identity card.

They said investigation was underway to ascertain whether it was a case of murder or suicide.
