KARACHI, March 1: Three vessels to load and offload containers and diesel oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, two more ships carrying containers and furnace oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Four ships, ACX Mimosa, Don Giovanni, Halo Cygnus and Al-Maqwa, were busy in loading and unloading containers, peas/ seeds and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 70,292 tons comprising 64,037 tons of import and 8,262 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was slow as only ACX Mimosa left the port while Don Giovanni was expected to depart on Thursday.
