Mr Pakistan honoured

LAHORE, Feb 28: Mohammad Hanif was honoured in a ceremony on Wednesday for winning the title of Mr Pakistan in January this year.

The bodybuilder received the cheque from Pakistan Railways Sports Board president Mushtaq Jadoon.

The president also distributed prizes among medal winners of the last National Games which were held in Quetta in 2004.

Those who received the prizes are:

Zahid Iqbal (judo); Mediha Ghafoor, Mohammad Amjad (karate); Awais Akbar, Wasif Hanif Butt (weightlifting); Imran Qureshi (bodybuilding); Mujahid Hussain (tae kwon do); Parveen Akhtar (athletics).—Our Sports Correspondent
