KARACHI, Feb 28: Four vessels carrying wheat, edible oil, seeds and furnace oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.

In the meantime, one more ship with diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy fell to 40pc as four ships, Asha Manan, Eship Cobia, Maria, Halo Cygnus and Elka Vassiliki, were busy in loading and offloading wheat, edible oil, peas/seeds and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 34,648 tons comprising 33,096 tons of import and 1,552 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Eship Cobia, Nedlloyed America, Elka Vassiliki and Asha Manan left the port.
