Boxers depart for Iran

KARACHI, Feb 27: A 12-member Pakistan boxing squad left for the Iranian city of Hamdan via Quetta on Tuesday to take part in the Al-Fajr International boxing championship starting Friday.

Boxers from 18 nations including Kazakhstan, India, Spain and Russia will exchange punches in the eight-day event.

Squad:

Jibran Muna, Afzal Qambrani, Abid Ali, Shoaib Rasheed, Zakir Hussain, Abdul Hameed Changezi, Pukar Khan.
