LAHORE, Feb 27: The ABN-Amro One-day Silver League Cup final between Lahore Lions and Islamabad Leopards was washed out at the KRL Stadium, Rawalpindi, with both teams being declared as joint champions.

A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesman said here on Tuesday both the teams received a cash prize of Rs1125000 each as joint leaders.

Islamabad’s Afaq Rahim, who scored 223 runs, was declared the best batsman of the tournament, Lahore pace bowler Wahab Riaz (11 wickets) best bowler, Kashif Siddique of Lahore (five catches) the best fielder. Multan’s Gulraiz Sadaf, who took eight catches, was judged the best wicket-keeper of the tournament. —APP
