Rain brings mercury down

PESHAWAR, Feb 27: The continuing rain and snowfall on hilltops have brought the mercury down. According to the Met Office during the past 24 hours, 32mm of rain was recorded in the Dir district, 31mm in Kalam, 2.5mm in Peshawar, 7.2mm in Bannu, 26mm in Balakot, 10.9mm in Chitarl, 23mm in Malamjabba, 24mm in Saidu Sharif, 22mm in Parachinar and 5.6mm in Drosh (Chitral).—APP
