ISLAMABAD, Feb 27: The International Islamic University (IIU) on Tuesday announced special incentives for teachers and students from Balochistan in its academic programmes.

Addressing the concluding ceremony of a workshop organised for teachers from Balochistan at the Dawah Academy here, IIU President Dr Anwar Hussain Siddiqui said special scholarships would be given to the teachers and students from the province.

The workshop started on February 16 and was attended by 58 teachers.

The IIU president said that Balochistan is an important part of the country, which requires development, specially in the field of education.
