KARACHI: Landhi Town nazim resigns

KARACHI, Feb 27: The Town Nazim Landhi has resigned from his post citing health reasons. A statement issued from the MQM headquarters on Tuesday stated “Nazim Landhi Town Muhammad Ismail Qureshi belonging to Haq Parast group has resigned from his post due to ill-health and pressing personal engagements.”

Talking to Dawn, Mr Qureshi confirmed his registration saying that he had submitted his resignation to the Sindh chief minister on Monday.

Explaining his health condition, Mr Qureshi said that he is suffering from kidney ailment and ulcers and was finding it difficult to continue with the officials responsibilities.
