KARACHI, Feb 27: Eight ships carrying containers, coal and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Five ships, Corin Thaikos, Mol Kauri, and C. Ningbo to unload and load containers, Magway to unload and load general cargo and Ariebe, to unload iron scrap were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Soon Fu, Mol Kauri, Westermoor, Lalazar and Sunniva, while Khaleda, Patriot, Masgway, C. Ningbo, Cougar Ace and Manchester are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total volume of 66,019 tons comprising 25,017 tons of export cargo and 41,002 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Jade Trader, Harmony, Iran Hesabi, Hyundai Highway, Y.M.Fortune, to unload and load containers, Shalamar, to offload crude oil, Cmb Talent, with 43,399 tons of coal and Eastmed Carrier, to load cement.
