JWP’s new chief organiser

By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Feb 25: Nawabzada Baramdagh Bugti, the grandson of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, has been appointed as the chief organiser of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) for interim period.

A decision in this regard was taken by the party’s central committee which met here on Sunday under the chairmanship of Mir Abdul Qadir Qalandrani, according to a party press release.

The meeting reviewed the overall situation of the province and observed that the party could not take timely political decisions after the death of Nawab Bugti.

The JWP central committee authorised Baramdagh Bugti to pick up a deputy organiser and organising committee members for running party affairs. He was also asked to announce schedule for convening party’s central council.

On the occasion, the central committee decided to continue the ‘struggle’ launched by Nawab Bugti for Baloch rights. It also asked the ‘real heirs’ and political followers of Nawab Bugti to come forward and strengthen the party.
