Pakistan bag five bronze medals

LAHORE, Feb 24: Pakistan won five bronze medals in Al-Fajr Cup International karate tournament in Arak, Iran. The competition was held on Feb 22 and 23.

Shamas-uz-Zaman (+80 kgs category), Ain-ud-Din -80kgs), Nasir Khan (+65kgs), Shaukat Ali (-65kgs), and Mohammad Ramzan (Open weight) grabbed the medals.

Besides Pakistan and the hosts, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Azerbaijan also featured in the event.

The Pakistan karatekas will return back home on Monday.
