TAXILA, Feb 24: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz group) deputy parliamentary leader and central leader of the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy, Ch Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said that around 130 delegates would attend the London multi-party conference (MPC) scheduled to be held in March.

He was talking to newsmen here at Wah Cantt on Saturday after addressing two public meetings in Taxila and Wah Cantonment respectively.

He said 32 political parties including PPP, MMA, Balochistan political groups and 95 others belonging to human rights originations, NGOs and journalist’s representatives had consented to grace the occasion.

He said time had come to draw a line draw between supporters and opposers of the present rulers and any double game would be suicidal.

He said that no political party or political leader worth the name, could not afford to stand with a uniformed president.

Responding to a question, he said that the holding of MPC was an effort to solidify the opposition stance and movement against the present rulers and finalise the future strategy . “We are confident that both the PPP and MMA would stand whole heatedly with us for the single reason that change is must to save the country’s ideological and geographical frontiers,” he added.

While refuting rumours of divisions within the alliance, he said the multi-party conference (MPC) would be a milestone in the struggle for the restoration of democracy.

He said that the MPC would open a new chapter in the country’s political history. “All democratic forces will be united on a single platform to make a common strategy to get rid of dictatorship,” he said.

He said that it is time for all religious and political parties to adopt a clear stand and get united for bringing Pakistan back to real democracy. He expressed the hope that the MPC would not turn out to be merely a sitting.

Earlier, addressing party activists at Nawababad and Wah Cantt he said poor law and order situation could be gauged from the fact that about 25 robberies were committed in Lahore in a single day.

He said when a provincial minister could be assassinated in broad daylight and murder attempt made on a federal minister’s life, there was no guarantee for the safety of common man.
