QUETTA, Feb 23: The Mastung township, about 50km from here, was rocked by a powerful bomb explosion, late on Friday night.
According to police sources, a home-made bomb planted along the wall of the office of the Public Safety Commission with timer went off at around 10. 30pm causing panic among the residents of the township.
The wall of the Public Safety Commission office collapsed while windowpanes of many nearby houses were smashed in the powerful explosion.
However, no casualty was reported in the blast, police said, adding that a case has been registered against unknown people and further investigation was in progress.
