KARACHI: Partially decomposed body found

KARACHI, Feb 23: Partially decomposed body of a man was found near Bilal Colony in Korangi on Friday. Police said Bengali-speaking Noorul Ameen, 35, had been living in his hutment alone for the past four years. They said the area people informed the police about the body after they smelled stink coming out of the hutment.

The police said the victim was found trussed up. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. “The cause of his death will be ascertained after the receipt of medical examination report,” they said.

SUICIDE: A 22-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself off the ceiling fan in Peerabad.

Police said Farzana, wife of Ghulam Abbas, was found dead in her house in Mianwali Colony. Her body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

FIRECRACKER: Three children were injured when a fire-cracker went off in Khokhrapar. The injured were taken to the JPMC where they were identified as Nauman, Sumbul and Dilawar.
