Two killed in road accident

ISLAMABAD, Feb 17: Two persons were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision between a car and trailer here on Saturday, police said.

According to details, three persons identified as Tariq, Faisal and Sajjad were travelling in a car (LWF-1024) on G.T. Road. When they reached Judicial Colony, the car’s driver tried to overtake another vehicle when it collided with a trailer coming from the opposite direction.

As a result, all three occupants of the car were seriously injured. Later Tariq and Faisal died while Sajjad, who was taken to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, was in critical condition.—Staff Reporter
