KARACHI, Feb 16: A meeting of DHA Executive Board presided over by Commander V-Corps and President Executive Board DHA Lt-Gen Ahsan Azhar Hayat was held at Defence Housing Authority’s main office on Thursday.
The meeting reviewed the progress of DHA’s ongoing development projects and took some important decisions.
The executive board was informed that FWO and NLC were carrying out fast track construction of major roads network in DHA Phase-VIII.
The Executive Board approved incorporation of the modern cul-de-sac concept in DHA Phase-VIII master plan. The contemporary urban planning concept envisages replacing grids and intersections with closed blocks thus enhancing security and traffic ability in the area.
The Executive Board also gave permission for starting construction in DHA Phase-VII Extension after April 30, 2007.
