KARACHI: CPLC chief appointed

KARACHI, Feb 15: Sharfuddin Memon was notified as chief of the Citizen-Police Liaison Committee for another three years by the Sindh Home Department here on Thursday.

Mr Memon is the successor of Jamil Yousuf, who was denotified in the year 2003.

According to the notification, Shaukat Suleman and Murad Soni have been notified as deputy chiefs of the CPLC, Central Control Room in the Governor House while Ahmed Chinnoy, Tanveer Mohammad and Hanif Moosa were notified as assistant chiefs of the CPLC.

Mr Soni has served as a deputy chief and the chief of the CPLC Central Zone for six years and some two years back he left the organisation for his personal engagements.—Staff Reporter
