House robbed

LAHORE, Feb 13: Four robbers looted a house in Kot Lakhpat on Tuesday. Police said the robbers came to Ismaeel’s house at Bilal Street and held his wife at gunpoint. They collected Rs16,000 in cash, jewellery, four cell phones and other valuables and managed their escape.

However, Kot Lakhpat SPO claimed that the incident was a theft in which thieves sneaked into the house through the open door and took away Rs6,000 in cash, two cell phones and a pair of gold earrings when Mrs Ismaeel was saying prayers.

Two robbers barged into Sheikh Akhtar’s house at 264-H Defence, held the family at gunpoint and escaped with Rs8,000 in cash, four gold bangles and four cell phones. —Staff Reporter
