Women meter readers for NAs planned


ASTORE, Feb 13: Women meter readers will be appointed in Northern Areas to check power stealing and billing problems.

NAs power secretary Nasir Ali Shigri said that the process would be started as a pilot project from Ghanche district.

He said that the government had earmarked quota for women in various departments and the priority would be given to local ones.

He said that meters would be shifted outside the houses.—APP
