KARACHI, Feb 13: Three ships carrying containers and coal were berthed at QICT and IOCB during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, another ship with chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was maintained at 70 per cent as six ships, CSAV Ningbo, Brianna, Multan, Jullieta, Gemini and Atlantic Sun, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, edible oil and coal.

Cargo handling was brisk totaling 81,891 tones comprising 55,780 tons of import and 26,111 tons of export tonnage.

Sailing was slow as only Brianna left the port while Nederland Asia and Jullieta were due to depart on Tuesday.
