KARACHI, Feb 13: Nine ships carrying general cargo and to load kinoo and rice are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was light where only one ship, China Star to unload and load containers was berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed included Athos-1, Mol Ability, Breezy Victoria, Bolan, Johar and Multi Trader, while Golden Win, Nancy, Iran Heasabi and China Star are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 54,060 tons comprising 4,886 tons of rice and 13,237 tons of clinkers and 19,082 tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Jullieta, to load 24,000 tons of rice, Cherry Star to load 1,650 tons of kinoo, Xiang Cheng to unload and load containers, Hyundai Stride, Kota Permal, Harmony and Y.M. Star with containers.
