MIRPURKHAS: Man electrocuted

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 11: A man was electrocuted when he tried to vandalise power lines while clinging to an electricity pole in the Ghulam Mohammed Makrani village near Seed Farm late on Saturday night.

Reports reaching here said that late Makrani, 30, fell after suffering electric shock when he tried to cut off a live wire. He died instantaneously.

The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company line superintendent Mushtaq Gormani lodged a case under section 379, 511 and 34 PPC at town police station against the deceased accusing him of power theft. —Correspondent
