KARACHI, Feb 10: The Judicial Magistrate, South, Khushi Mohammad, acquitted Moin Khan, a former cricketer, in a case registered against him by his wife, Tasneem Khan.

She had accused Moin Khan of abusing and beating up her.

On her complaint, Darakhshan police had arrested Moin Khan on January 16 and kept him in lockup overnight.

Tasneem Khan on Saturday appeared before the magistrate to record her statement, saying that she had now agreed to withdraw the case upon her husband’s assurance that he would never resort to abusing and beating up her up in future.

The magistrate disposed of the case accordingly.
