LAHORE, Feb 10: The final of the National polo championship between Bank Alfalah and Motorola which was scheduled to be held on Saturday at the Lahore Polo Club has been postponed for an indefinite period due to intermittent rain in the city on Friday.

LPC secretary Irfan Ali Hyder told Dawn that the club was unable to announce a fresh date at the moment as there were chances of further rain. He said the LPC executive committee will meet on Monday to take a final decision in this regard.

He expressed fear that another premier event of the season, the President's Cup, which is scheduled to start from Monday, might also be delayed.
