KOHAT, Feb 10: Federal Minister for Provincial Coordination Saleem Saifulah Khan has said that Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will soon visit Kohat to announce special development package.

This he said at a meeting with District Nazim Gohar Saifullah Khan and union council nazims on Saturday.

The minister said utility stores in all the 32 union councils of the Kohat district would be set up and assured gas supply to rural areas.

Earlier, the convener of the district council, Advocate Arif, urged the nazims to take interest in solving problems of their union councils and assure their presence in the monthly sessions.

The district nazim said that provincial president of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League had announced funds for Kohat and each nazim would be given Rs10 million out of it for resolving drinking water, health and education problems.

He said that soon a delegation of Kohat nazims would call on President Gen Pervez Musharraf to apprise him of the problems of Kohat.
