New worship place with permission

By Intikhab Hanif

LAHORE, Feb 8: Places of worships like mosques or imambargahs will be established in new housing colonies in the province with a prior permission of district governments.

This was decided at a meeting presided over by Chief Secretary Salman Siddique two days ago.

Official sources said on Thursday that all district coordination officers (DCOs), who attended the meeting, were asked to discourage mushrooming of religious places in new localities because of their reported misuse.
