KARACHI, Feb 7: An exhibition of internationally acclaimed artist Mansoora Hassan titled ‘I am wind You are Fire: An Installation’ opens at Canvas Gallery on February 8tat 5pm.
`I am wind You are Fire’ is a video painting, and photography installation comprising of images from the Sema Ceremony on Shab-e-Arus, “the nuptial night” which is the night that Mevalana passed on to be united with his Beloved: the Creator.
Mansoora’s international exhibits include shows in the United States, The Netherlands, Norway, Egypt, the UAE, Oman, Syria, Tunisia, Morocco, Japan and Senegal.
The exhibition will continue till February 17, daily from 5pm to 8pm.
