By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Feb 5: Gas supply was suspended to some areas in the city suburbs on Monday night after a pipeline was damaged in an explosion near Gahi Khan Chowk in the Sariab area.

According to police, the blast destroyed a three-foot piece of the three-inch diameter pipeline.

After the blast, gas supply to many villages in the Sariab area was suspended.

Gas company official said that the pipeline was being repaired and the supply of gas would be restored by Tuesday morning.
