Farhan in final

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5: Farhan Mehboob of Pakistan qualified for the final of the Asian Junior squash championship in Hong Kong by defeating compatriot Farzan Rashid in straight sets on Sunday.

He will face Abdullah Khalid Al-Mezayen of Kuwait in the final on Tuesday (today).

Farhan stunned Farzan 9-7, 9-7, 9-1 in first semi-final while Abdullah Khalid Al-Mezayen beat Waqar Mehboob of Pakistan 9-1, 9-7, 9-4 in the other semi-final.

Meanwhile, 13 men and eight women teams will participate in the team championship which is starting from Wednesday.—APP
