AKU girls’ throwball begins today

KARACHI, Feb 3: As many as twelve outfits will show their mettle in the fifth AKU Under-19 Inter-School/Collegiate girls’ throwball tournament which gets underway from Sunday here at the AKU Sports Center Gymnasium.

The AKU Sports & Rehabilitation Center is organising the weeklong competition.

Mohammadi Girls Secondary School (MGSS) will meet Karachi Public School (KPS) in the inaugural match of the tournament.

Participating teams are: Pool A: MGSS, KPS, Habib Girls School; Pool B: Convent of Jesus & Mary, Lyceum School (B), Aga Khan Higher Secondary; Pool C: St Patrick's High School, City School (Darakshan Campus), St Joseph's Convent School; Pool D: Lyceum School (A), Bayview High School, Meritorious High School. —PPI
