KARACHI, Feb 3: Nine ships carrying steel and steel coils and to load rice are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Kama Bhum, Bunga Kenari, Y.M. Sun to unload and load containers, Bolan to offload and load general cargo, Pacific Pioneer to offload coal, Oriental Orchid to load ethanol and Merit-E to load rice were berthed.

Five ships, Iran Shahryar, Iran Hesabi, Swat, Calvin P.Titus, Swat and Wappon Von Leipzig departed on Saturday, while Oriental Orchid, Kama Bhum, Cosco Pananma, Bunga Kenari, Oel Aishwarya, Oel Esteem and Multan are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.105m tons comprising 25,198 tons of export cargo including 1,306 tons of rice and 1,201 tons of cement and 79,950 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Sancris to load rice, Atlantic Express, Frederike Oldendorf with steel and steel coils, Iron Butterfly, with project cargo, Sima Pars, Iran Sattari, Gulf Bridge, Mol Kauri and Victory-1 with containers.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Ansan and Multi Trder to load rice, Kerasia-S with rock phosphate and Corin Thaikos with containers.
