KARACHI, Feb 2: Asfandyar Kharal's match-winner helped Lecole for Advanced Studies edge past The Generations School 1-0 in Karachi United school soccer championship at DHA Stadium on Friday.

Asfandyar came into action in the fifth minute to give his side a close win.

In another game, Army Public School defeated Bayview High School 2-0. Irfan Junejo was on target in the 25th minute while Sikander Butt doubled the lead with a 47th-minute strike.

In another match, Usman Shaukat and Khalid Zahoor struck twice to give Beacon House School – Jubilee Campus a 4-1 victory over The Southshore School for A’Level Studies.

Usman opened the account in the fifth minute, while Khalid found the cage in the 26th minute. Khalid completed his double in the 40th minute before Usman slotted home for his second 45th minute. The losers got their solitary goal through Hasan Qazi in the 52nd minute.
