Big win for Pakistan CC

KARACHI, Feb 2: Opener Asad Shafiq smashed an unbeaten half-century as Pakistan Cricket Club thrashed Pak Mujahid Cricket Club by ten wickets in a NBP-KCCA Inter Club championship match here at the KCCA Stadium on Thursday.

Asad cracked 11 boundaries and a six in his 70 and Daniyal Ahsan finished 24 not out as Pakistan CC reached the target of 107 in 18.1 overs without losing any wicket.

Earlier, off-spinner Zeeshan Jamil took 4-23 while left-arm spinners Adnan Kaleem and Faraz Ahmed Khan got two wickets apiece as Pak Mujahid Cricket Club were spun out for 106 in 33 overs.

Meanwhile, AAS Cricket Club defeated Mazhar Gymkhana by five wickets at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium. Mazhar Gymkhana, batting first, were bowled out for 160 in 29.4 overs. In reply, AAS CC reached the target off 6. overs while losing five wickets. Obaid Rabnawaz hit 54 laced with six hits to the boundary.
