Five killed near Kojak Pass

QUETTA, Jan 31: Five people, two of them Frontier Corps personnel, were killed when two vehicles fell in a ditch after colliding with each other at the Kojak Pass, near Chaman, on Wednesday.

According to reports a taxi carrying three people was going to Chaman.

When it reached at the top of the Kojak Pass a vehicle of the FC coming from the opposite direction collided with it at a blind turn.

Both the vehicles fell hundreds of feet into the ditch.

“All the five people travelling in both the vehicles died on the spot,” said an official of the levies force. The official said that the FC personnel were identified as Nauroz Ali and Shaki.

Three people travelling in the taxi could not be identified.
