Natalie at career-best position

KARACHI, Jan 31: Three successive titles have taken Australia's Natalie Grinham to career-best No2 spot in the new women world squash rankings published on Wednesday by the Women's International Squash Players' Association (WISPA) for the month of February.

Malaysia's Nicol David retains her grip, celebrating seventh consecutive month at the top.

Natalie overtakes her older sister Rachael Grinham for only the second time. Rachael slips to number three.

Former world number one Vanessa Atkinson drops to fourth position, her lowest in three years.

Pakistan’s Carla Khan is at 79th position due to prolong absence from the international circuit following injury. She is the only Pakistani in top-100 players.

Maria Toor Pakkay (123), Muqaddas Ashraf (146) and Saima Shaukat (146) are the other top Pakistani players.

Top Ten:

1. Nicol David (MAS); 2. Natalie Grinham (AUS); 3. Rachael Grinham (AUS); 4. Vanessa Atkinson (NED); 5. Tania Bailey (ENG); 6. Natalie Grainger (USA); 7. Vicky Botwright (ENG); 8. Madeline Perry (IRL); 9. Omneya Abdel Kawy (EGY); 10. Alison Waters (ENG).—PPI
