LAHORE, Jan 31: A full bench of the Supreme Court, comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Tassaduq Husain Gillani and Justice Syed Jamshed Ali, will on Thursday (today) take up proceedings into a petition regarding lifetime ban on cricketer Salim Malik.

Mr Malik in the petition has challenged the ban imposed on him by the Pakistan Cricket Board in Oct 2000. A commission, headed by then LHC judge Malik Muhammad Qayyum, had recommended the action.—Staff Reporter
