KARACHI, Jan 27: Abdul Malik and Mohammad Imran blasted centuries to help their respective teams win in the KCCA Inter Club Tournament here on Friday.
Abdul Malik recorded the first ton of the day when he smashed 128 including 11 boundaries as Young Pak Flag Cricket Club routed the PMTF by 31 runs at the Airport Stadium.
Due to Malik’s brilliant century, the victors, batting first, posted 268-5 in the stipulated 40 overs and later restricted the PMTF to 237 in 33 overs.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Imran made a superb 114 laced with 14 cracking fours to shine in Mazhar Gymkhana’s 46-run triumph against Taimuria Sports, who were dismissed for 182 in 34 overs while chasing 229 for victory, here at the Annu Bhai Park.
In other matches Ravi Gymkhana surpassed Youngster Gymkhana by four wickets at the Navy Ground whereas All Friends CC trounced Ever Bright Cricket Club by 42 runs at the Landhi Friends Ground.
