LAHORE, Jan 26: Skipper Mohammad Wasim and Babar Naeem struck their second half-centuries of the match to put Rawalpindi in a strong position of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League match against Faisalabad at the Iqbal Stadium on Friday.
Babar, who scored 55 in first innings, made 75 while Wasim followed his 62 with 57 as the visitors reached 277-8 in the second innings to extend their overall lead to 328.
Earlier, Faisalabad were all out for 200 in reply to Rawalpindi’s first-innings score of 251. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, 74 overnight, was left stranded on 93 when last man Asad Ali was out.
