KARACHI, Jan 25: The Sindh Tennis Association (STA) has invited five ranking players to appear in trials to pick Sindh team for the 30th National Games at the CDGK Sports Complex on Saturday at 9am.

Top three players will be selected at the end of three-day trials to be held on round robin league basis. Sindh’s top ranked player Yasir Khan has been exempted.

Those invited are Nasir Mushtaq, Mubashir Afridi (Kar), Shabbir Gul, Rafi Darbari and Saad Baloch (Hyd).

Open trials to pick women’s team will be held separately at the same venue from Jan 30. The STA has exempted Nida Waseem and Nyla Khan from appearing in the trials.

The selection committee consists of Zaheeruddin, Khalid Rehmani and Saeed Ahmed.
