LAHORE, Jan 25: Fine bowling by Wasim Khan helped Lahore Ravi put Quetta on verge of follow-on in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League tie at the LCCA Ground on Thursday.

Wasim finished with four for 64 as Quetta were all out for 248 in response to 408 made by the home side.

Quetta would have been bowled for a smaller total had last pair, Mohammad Alam (34) and Gohar Faiz (31) not added 63 precious runs.

All-rounder Arun Lal had earlier hit a robust 92 off 122 balls after Quetta lost five for 56. His knock contained 16 fours.

Ali Azmat, 92 overnight, duly completed a fine century after Lahore Ravi resumed at 331 for six. He was finally out for a 172-ball 126 after striking 20 boundaries.
