111 migrants saved from drowning
TRIPOLI, Jan 25: Libyan coastguards saved 111 illegal migrants from perishing in Mediterranean waters on Thursday after they tried to reach Europe from the North African country, Libya's official news agency Jana said. It gave no details of the circumstances but said the migrants of various nationalities received the necessary humanitarian aid after being rescued.—Reuters
