GUJRANWALA Jan 24: A condemned prisoner will be hanged in the central jail here on Thursday morning. Convict Shahzad alias Billo had killed Imtiaz on July 29, 1994. A sessions court sentenced him to death on July 24, 1998. The president and the apex court rejected his mercy petitions.

Meanwhile, the anti-terrorism court No 1 stopped the execution of convicts Rukhsar Ahmad and Munir Ahmad as the family of the deceased pardoned them.
