Seminar on Pak-US cultural relations

FAISALABAD, Jan 24: US assistance is imperative not only for socio-economic uplift of Pakistan but also for strengthening further Pak-US ties at the people level, says American Consulate public affairs in-charge Miss Katherine.

She was addressing a seminar on Pak-American cultural relations held at Faisalabad Institute of Textile and Fashion Design (FITFD) here on Tuesday.

She said the US was interested in smooth and steady progress of Pakistan and was providing necessary support in various fields. “American support for economic development of Pakistan will continue in future,” she assured.

US Consulate cultural affairs in-charge Miss Tahira Habib and Prof Rasheed Khalid of FITFD also addressed the seminar. —APP
