KARACHI: Headless body of woman found in Korangi

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Jan 24: The headless and limbless body of a young woman was found on Wednesday in the Korangi Industrial Area police limits.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where the doctors said the victim was in her early 20s. The complexion of the victim was fair, the doctors said.

The doctors said it would be ascertained whether the woman was raped after the report of chemical examination. They said the woman was killed some 12 hours back.

The police said they received an anonymous call about the presence of the body at around 11am. The naked body was lying near a drain behind the Silver Textile Mills.

The police have registered a case against the unknown culprits and the body was kept in the Edhi morgue for want of identification.
