KARACHI, Jan 23: The excise police, in order to stop inter-provincial narcotics smuggling and elimination of drugs, will be equipped with modern arms and vehicles.

New mobiles with wireless system will be provided to the excise police to enable them to take snap action against drug-pushers, Sindh Excise and Taxation Minister Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani told staff of his department during a departmental briefing given by DG (E&T) Asif Marghoob Siddiqui.—PPI
