KBP’s protest movement from 25th

LAHORE, Jan 22: The Kissan Board Pakistan (KBP) has decided to launch a countrywide movement from Jan 25 to protest against high prices of agriculture inputs. Addressing a news conference here on Monday, KBP president Sardar Zafar

Husain Khan said press conferences would be held at all provincial headquarters during first phase of the movement.

During the second phase which would start in February, rallies and press conferences would be held at all zonal headquarters of the country, he said.

The board chief said prices of agriculture inputs should be brought down to the same level of that of India where they were being sold at almost half of the rates.
